14 Hands Vineyards plans to open a winery in Prosser, Washington by fall 2013.
According to a press release by Ste. Michelle Wine Estates, 14 Hands Vineyard’s parent company, the winery will feature a tasting bar, lounge, and a barrel room for Reserve tastings. The winery’s site is the former location of Snoqualmie winery. Snoqualmie’s production will move to Columbia Crest in Paterson, Washington.
Prosser is a hot area right now. In addition to several wineries, it is also home to the Walter Clore Wine & Culinary Center, a tourism destination for Washington food and wine. The Clore Center began construction in January.
